Changing part of an SKO on an order
When you need it
- The customer wants only part of a pack, for example 2 bottles of a box of 4.
- The warehouse tells you some units of an SKO are missing or broken, for example 2 of 4, and you want to take off only those, not the whole SKO or the whole product.
Where the button is
Open the order. In the products list, look at the Quantity column. The broken glass button is on the right of the quantity box.
It only appears on products packed in more than one unit. A product sold as a single unit has nothing to cut, so it has no button.
Changing the quantity
Order still in basket or just submitted. The quantity box is editable straight away.
- Click the broken glass button. It turns orange and the box now counts units: 8/4 means 8 units of a 4 pack, which is 2 whole SKOs.
- Change the number with + and - or type it. 6/4 is one SKO and a half.
- It saves by itself.
Order already in the warehouse. Press the pencil (Edit Product Order) at the end of the line first. The box opens with the broken glass button next to it; click it, type the number of units and save the change.
The order total follows the new quantity.
When the warehouse reports missing units
Items the warehouse could not pick go to Waiting for CRM. When you replace one of them with another product, the replace window has the same broken glass switch under Quantity to replace. Turn it on to swap only part of a pack, for example 2 of a 4 pack, instead of the whole SKO.
Before raising a ticket
If something on a screen looks like it cannot be done, ask your manager or a colleague first, or search these guides. A lot of what looks missing is already there behind a button. Raise a ticket when it is really broken or really missing.
